• Raffle basket prep - Tuesday at 8:45am - come anytime and help.  You do not need to be an expert wrapper!  We accept all levels and skills!
• Admissions- $5 per adult (Skyline parents and guests, too)
• Volunteer Needs - WE HAVE A FEW CRITICAL NEEDS STILL AVAILABLE -Please remember that we expect that if your child is swimming that you will sign up and help out in some way during this meet. We even have alumni coming back to volunteer - so if they can do it then our parent volunteers can step up and do it too!
  • Candygrams - 3 for 1ST shift AND 2 for 2ND shift
  • Concessions - 1 from 4-5, 1 from 5-6, 2 from 7-8, and 3 from 8-9
  • Hospitality- 1 for 2nd half
  • Parking - 2 more people

  • Tear Down- 3 more people
  • Raffle Table- 1 person for each half
  • Ribbons- 2 for each half
  • Staging- 1 person for 1st half and 2 people for 2nd half
• Concession Needs - WE ALSO HAVE A FEW CRITICAL NEEDS STILL AVAILABLE HERE TOO!  WE ARE ASKING FOR MORE DONATIONS SINCE WE WILL HAVE 3 ADDITIONAL TEAMS SUPPORTING OUR CHARITIES!
• The Cup also offers a Mamas/Papas 25 Free relay, so dust off those suits and gather your friends/family for a fun and friendly relay race!  You can email me the names of the people in your relay!

(REMINDER) MAKEUP PHOTO DAY - TUESDAY, JULY 3--Please email me to let me know that this is a need for you!

The photographers will be back at the pool on Thursday for anyone who missed their individual photos. If you need an order form, let me know.  I am still waiting on a confirmation about the time they will be at the pool that day.  Thank you for your patience!

(REMINDER)Save-A-Life Swim Program- THURSDAY, JULY 3rd

The American Cancer Society Save-a-Life Swim Program is returning this year during our regular practices on Thursday, July 3rd. This is a fun practice as we ask the kids to swim as many laps as they can to raise money for the American Cancer Society. They can use flippers and kickboards too!

Only swimmers who raise money for the Save-a-life Swim Program should attend practice. Swimmers can request donors to pledge per lap or make a flat donation. Ask your parents, older siblings, grandparents, neighbors and friends to donate. We encourage parents to attend practice to help count your swimmer’s laps if anyone chooses to pledge per lap. The pledge form is attached. You can download and print. There will be a few in a labeled folder in a top drawer of the filing cabinet by tomorrow morning.

Come during your normal practice time. There will be breakfast snacks when the swimmers are finished with their laps. There will be drawings for prizes as well.

We will also have an honor and memory board for the swimmers to write a special message if they have a loved one that has battled or is currently battling cancer.

(REMINDER) Adamstown Make Up Meet--MONDAY, July 7th

Please declare your swimmer's availability for the meet and don't forget to sign up to volunteer.  There are a lot of openings that will need to be filled!  

(NEW) MANHEIM FAST AND FURIOUS - SATURDAY, JULY 12 

• Rain date: Sunday, July 13
• Location: Manheim Community Pool
• Warmups: TBD
• Meet Starts: 9 AM
• Admission: $5, 12 and under free
• We NEED 2 TIMERS, please email me if you are interested!
• Parents, coaches, college students can swim a 25 free - just let Coach Barb know
• I will send this line up in a separate email.  Changes can be made by emailing Coach Barb by JULY 2nd.

(NEW) BANQUET - SUNDAY, JULY 20th--Trade in those swim fins for dancing shoes!  This is a great way to celebrate the end of the season!

Where: Eden Resort Courtyard

When: Sunday, July 20th 5:30-9:30 PM

Cost:

• $15 for swimmers
• $25 for non-swimmers 11 and under
• $33 for non-swimmers 12 and up

Payment: Cash, Check (payable to Skyline Swim Team -put in Damm mailbox) or Venmo (@skylinesharks) PLEASE ADD AN ADDITIONAL $2 PER PERSON IF PAYING BY VENMO due to Skyline by July 14th.

Register: In SwimTopia, go to Meets and Events and scroll to Banquet and click the RSVP button. 

RSVP for only those listed in your family who are attending. If you are bringing additional guests, please choose how many and list their names (and age if a child) in the Comment Section. Also, in the comments section – please list your total amount and payment method. If you have not registered and paid when the signup closes on the 14th, you will not be counted in the final count and will be unable to attend the meal portion of the banquet.

Other information:

• 8 and under swimmers will be sitting with their families
• Children ages 12-years-old and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult
• For safety purposes, Skyline Swim Team and families are only permitted in the courtyard and lobby areas of the Eden Resort. Parents/Guardians need to know children's whereabouts at all times.
