Last Sunday Scoop....or is it?

The following is a message from Coach Barb:

Hey Skyline,

A big congratulations for all those sharks who swam in either the relays or individuals Friday night and Saturday morning. The rain held off and the meet ran very fast both sessions ... and Skyline placed 5th in the meet.

Almost all of our relays beat their seed time which is very exciting and we had quite a bunch of best times today as well. Well done Skyline!!

Attached are the individual results for Skyline as well as a pdf of the results of the whole meet.

Shout out to our 13/14 boys who broke the record they recorded last Saturday at Divisionals in the 200 Free Relay Ryan Damm, Marco Torres, Griffin Crumbling and Parker Newman bested that time by 1.17 seconds 1:51.06

Have a fantastic August. To those of you who are now heading on vacations, travel safely. Thanks again to all the Skyline families for your support throughout the summer. It takes all of you to make this team work.

Thank you Skyline Board for all your hard work all year long.

Thank you Bonner family for traveling from Texas, spending your June and July with us and continuing to support us at every Skyline meet.

Coach Barb

The following is a message from me:

(REMINDER) Mailboxes

  • Please remember to stop by the pool during normal hours to check your mailboxes for awards, ribbons, and t-shirts (seriously!)!  We don't want to store your awards and such over the winter!  Send a neighbor, friend, parent!   I am challenging you to a clean mailbox award before August 3rd!  Can we have 90% of the team with clean boxes???  Challenge accepted!
  • If for some reason you are away from now until August 3rd, please reach out and I am thinking of doing a porch pick up, but that would require you to drive to my house! If you fit into this category, please email me so we can make arrangements.

Please enjoy the rest of the summer, and good luck to seniors who are starting their new adventures soon!  Seniors, stop back next season to say hi!  To the rest of the swimmers, good luck with the start to a new school year!  Learn lots!

Stay tuned for more information on swim clinics that are run in the fall and for information about the winter swim program (MTAG).
