Dear Skyline! We are in the final, but important stretch of the season!! Please read carefully!
A Note From Hempfield-(NEW)
We're looking forward to hosting you on Tuesday 7/14 and wanted to pass along a few reminders and updates to help make the evening run smoothly for everyone! In addition to the below, it is also our Senior night so we will be taking about 10 minutes from 6-6:10 to honor our graduating seniors on deck. Thanks!
Parking
- Please direct your families to park in the large grass field on the Church Street side of the Hempfield Rec Center (see attached map).
- Vehicles can access the field via the driveway marked with the red arrows/circle on the map.
- We will have parking attendants available to direct and organize traffic.
- If additional parking is needed, overflow parking is available directly across Church Street at the Four Seasons Golf Course / Blue Collar Restaurant parking lot (marked with the blue circle).
- Visiting team seating will be around the fenced basketball court area (marked with the green circle).
- We ask that swimmers and families do not set up inside the basketball court itself.
- We'll have the Walk-O Taco food truck on site serving food. Walk-O Taco Food Truck
- A small concession stand will also be available with drinks and snacks.
- Relays for the 10 & Under age groups will utilize in-water starts.
- There are two sets of bleachers inside the pool area available for spectators.
- We ask that swimmers and families avoid using the Rec Center locker rooms for changing and restroom use, and should refrain from entering the "breezeway" connecting the pool to the main Rec facility.
- Portable restrooms are available outside near the basketball courts.
- There is only one entrance/exit to the pool area, which can become busy as swimmers and families move in and out. We do our best to keep this area clear and would appreciate any assistance encouraging families to keep traffic moving through this space.
- As always, we're grateful to the Hempfield Rec Center for hosting our team and meets. We ask that swimmers, families, and spectators help us be good guests by treating the facility with care and respect throughout the evening.

Warm Ups: 5:45pm

We STILL need help with filling the volunteer spots for this meet. Please look at Swimtopia and put yourself into a slot!!
Divisionals at Skyline-(NEW & REMINDER)
- Divisionals is a meet that EVERYONE can swim in! No qualifying times needed!
- It will be divided into 2 sessions:
- AM Session (meet starts at 9AM) 11/12, 13/14 and Opens
- The meet will begin with relays!
- PM Session (meet starts at 1:30PM) 9/10 and 8&U
- This meet will begin with freestyle and end with relays (traditional meet style)
- AM Session (meet starts at 9AM) 11/12, 13/14 and Opens
- There are 7 teams in our division. That is a lot of people in and out of our pool all day. This is why we need you to help! Just ONE shift ! Or if you and your other half want to show up for our team, and you can BOTH take a shift!
- The sign up genius for volunteer and concessions was sent yesterday as a separate email, making it easier for you to find!
All Leagues-(NEW)
- All Leagues will be held at the New Holland Community Pool
- Relays, Friday, July 24th (anyone can participate in the relay portion)
- Individual Events, Saturday, July 25th (Must have a qualifying time to participate)
- I've attached a document with the CURRENT swimmers that have already qualified for an INDIVIDUAL event (s)
- Your swimmer STILL has time to qualify with our meet on Tuesday and Divisionals on Saturday!
Mailboxes-(NEW)
- Please check your mailboxes at some point this week!
Banquet Payment-(REMINDER)
- Money is due ASAP
- We will not be able to admit anyone who hasn't paid
- Everyone will pay this year, swimmers too. $29 for 13+ and $19 for 4-12 years old. Venmo payments require you to add $2 to each person ($29 Venmo for 2 adults would be $31 each)
Information to Come-(NEW)
- Anne will be sending information about the coaches gratitude bags
- I will send information about divisionals and the banquet midweek
- See the flyer attached about the Pasta Party before Divisionals. We will have a place soon! (July 16th)
