Things to put on your radar:
1. Concessions sign up for our first home meet is now available in Swimtopia under the job signup.
2. Save-A-Life (formally known as Swim for Cancer) will take place on June 19th during practice. We will have a link and more information about raising money to help fight cancer.
3. Picture Day will be on June 23rd before your practice time. Information sheets will be placed in your mailboxes soon. Individual pictures are optional. We will have our team picture before our home meet that same day. Report time will be a bit earlier so we can get team photos in! Stay tuned for more info!
4. Guppy Gulch is a fun day with your family and your swim family! Look it up on the Guppy Gulch website to see what it is all about! More information to come. Our GG day will be Sunday, June 28th.
5. Skyline Cup will be June 30th! It is a fun meet with other teams from the area (Overlook, Bent Creek, Lancaster Country Club, and Manheim). We raise money for our two chosen charities through the raffle baskets (more information to come), candy grams, and concessions. There will be fun coaches relays/family/friend relays, and more!
Now for: A Note of Grace
We have all been new at something, and we have all made mistakes. Please know that Anibal and the Skyline Board will do our very best to make this season the greatest one yet! We are just asking for a bit of grace and understanding that there is a learning curve with everything. If you have any direct questions for Coach Anibal (especially during practices), please reach out to me and I will make sure he hears your request/question. We are asking that you do not interrupt a practice to speak with him. The same was asked when Coach Barb was here. Thank you so much, and swim fast tonight if you are going!
~Cathy
