Is it summer yet? The calendar says it is the unofficial start to summer, and Mother Nature has other plans!

COACHES CORNER (A new section of the News)
A Note from Coach Anibal:
Happy Memorial Day to everyone! No practice on Monday, May 25th. June 1st (Monday) will be NEW SWIMMER practice only from 6:00-7:00pm. From 7:00-8:00pm on Monday, June 1st, 13/14 Girls and 15 & Over swimmers will have practice!
Senior Parents!! (REMINDER)
Please have your senior complete this google form as soon as you can (by June 1st). It will be used for Senior Night on June 23rd, and at the Banquet on July 19th.
Please send 3 photos of your senior for the posters to [email protected]. These pictures can be swim related or not! We will need all photos by June 1st.
New Parents(REMINDER)

Meets and Events(NEW)
Volunteer sign ups are now open!
Go to Swimtopia and sign up for a spot! We need timers, concession workers, runners, ribbon workers, scorekeepers, etc! New parents, do not be afraid to sign up! I can make sure you are paired with another seasoned parent to help/explain how things work! Reach out to me if you would like to have a little "training"! Concession donations will open soon!
Stroke and Turn Clinic (NEW)

Welcome Back Social (NEW)
Our Welcome Back Social (I accidentally called it a "picnic") will be at the Skyline Pool on June 9th from 6:00-8:00pm. We are asking families who are attending to bring a dessert to share. The team will be providing plates, napkins, etc, and water in coolers. If you are not a member of Skyline Pool, please tell them at the desk you are there for the social. We will be in the grass area on the opposite side of the pool near the sheds. This is a great opportunity to meet new families, board members, coaches, and to get signed up for volunteer positions!

The first two meets of the season are coming up quickly! Please make sure to declare either YES or NO.
Overlook Opener--June 11th (more meet related information to come)
(NEW) Here is the the link to sign up for lane timers for this event. Timers will receive FREE admission.

Family Relay - This is a new event this year. Groups of 4 can sign up for a 100M Free Relay. Each "family" relay must have at least 1 or 2 adults. Relation is encouraged, but not required. Participating families can sign up for the Family Relay on the day of the event, cost is $10.
Woodridge Invitational--June 13th (more meet related information to come)
(NEW) Woodridge is requesting 3 timers from Skyline! SIGN UP VIA SWIMTOPIA! Timers will receive free admission ($5.00 for everyone else)! Timing responsibilities will be split up and determined by the volunteers. You get a front row "seat" at the edge of the pool, and free splashes!
Overlook Home Meet--June 16th

Conestoga Valley Invitational--June 20th (more meet related information to come)(NEW) Timers are needed for this meet. SIGN UP VIA SWIMTOPIA! We will need 2 timers for the first half and 2 timers for the second half!
I hope that the first week of indoor practice went well! I saw a lot of smiles, so that is a good sign!
