It's hard to believe we are in the home stretch of the swim season with our final 2 dual meets and invitational on Saturday. This summer feels like it flew by faster than any other! 

ADAMSTOWN DUAL MEET - TUESDAY (NEW)

Location: 272 W Main St, Adamstown (If you've never driven there before, you need to drive past the pool and parking is limited)

Volunteers Needed: Scoring (2nd half), Staging (1-2nd half), Finish Judge (1 in each half), Stroke and Turn Judge (1 in each half)

LANDISVILLE DUAL MEET - THURSDAY (NEW)

Location: 50 Elmwood Ave, Landisville, PA 17538

Arrival Time: 5:15

Volunteers Needed: Scoring (1 in each half), Staging (1 in 1st half and 2 in 2nd half), Finish Judge (1 in each half), Stroke and Turn Judge (1 in each half)

MANHEIM FAST AND FURIOUS - SATURDAY, JULY 13 (REMINDER)

• Rain date: Sunday, July 14
• Location: Manheim Community Pool
• Warmups: TBD
• Meet Starts: 9 AM
• Admission: $5, 12 and under free
• Finalized lineup is attached
• Parking: All coaches, swimmers and spectators should avoid parking in any posted NO PARKING areas. Cars will be ticketed/towed for violations

SAVE-A-LIFE SWIM PROGRAM - TUESDAY, JULY 16 (NEW)

The American Cancer Society Save-a-Life Swim Program is returning this year during our regular practices on Tuesday, July 16. This is a fun practice as we ask the kids to swim as many laps as they can without stopping. They can use flippers and kickboards too!

• Only swimmers who raise money for the Save-a-Life Swim Program should come to practice.
• Swimmers can request donors to pledge per lap or make a flat donation. Ask your parents, older siblings, grandparents, neighbors, and friends to donate. WE ENCOURAGE PARENTS TO COME TO PRACTICE TO HELP COUNT YOUR SWIMMER'S LAPS IF ANYONE CHOOSE TO PLEDGE PER LAP. 
• The Pledge Form is attached. You can download and print. There will be a few in a labeled folder in the top drawer of the filing cabinet soon. 
• Online donations will be available, but I will need to get that to you perhaps tomorrow as the coordinator didn't set us up yet and I need to contact her 
• Come during your normal practice time.
• The team will provide snacks when swimmers are done swimming. There will be drawings for prizes too. 

LSSL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - FRIDAY, JULY 26 AND SATURDAY, JULY 27 (NEW)

Attached are the current League Qualifiers for League Championships on Saturday July 27 (Individual events session). Congrats to all these qualifiers!! The meet is being held at Manheim Community Pool in the morning.Swimmers have 4 more meets to qualify- Both upcoming dual meets, Manheim Fast and Furious (Sat July 13) and Divisional Championships being held July 20 at Adamstown. The RELAY session is held Friday July 26 in the evening. There are NO qualifying times. We may enter 2 relays in each relay event (free and medley relay). The medley relay begins with backstroke, then breaststroke, next is fly, and last is free. Anyone can swim in the relay session so if your swimmer is available, and interested in swimming, please mark them as available for the relay portion of the meet. This does not guarantee your swimmer in a relay, but it will give them a chance. Coach Barb will choose the relays based off of best times. If there are at least 8 swimmers interested, 2 relays will be entered. We need at least 4 to enter one relay. We love taking 2 relays, if we have enough swimmers available.

BANQUET - SUNDAY, JULY 21 (REMINDER)

Where: Eden Resort Courtyard

When: Sunday, July 21 5-9 PM

Cost:

• $15 for swimmers
• $25 for non-swimmers 11 and under
• $33 for non-swimmers 12 and up

Payment: Cash, Check (payable to Skyline Swim Team -put in Damm mailbox) or Venmo (@skylinesharks) PLEASE ADD AN ADDITIONAL $1 PER PERSON IF PAYING BY VENMO due to Skyline by July 14

Register: In Swim Topia, go to Meets and Events and scroll to Banquet and click the RSVP button. RSVP for only those listed in your family who are attending. If you are bringing additional guests, please choose how many and list their names (and age if a child) in the Comment Section. Also, in the comments section – please list your total amount and payment method. If you have not registered and paid when the signup closes on the 14th, you will not be counted in the final count and will be unable to attend the meal portion of the banquet.

Other information:

• 8 and under swimmers will be sitting with their families
• Children ages 12-years-old and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult
• For safety purposes, Skyline Swim Team and families are only permitted in the courtyard and lobby areas of the Eden Resort. Parents/Guardians need to know children's whereabouts at all times.
