It's time for the first Skyline Sunday Scoop of the 2024 Summer Swim Season!

If your child has graduated and you will no longer be a part of the Skyline Swim Team, you may stop reading and delete this email. The way the system is set up, I needed to include you in this communication until registration for this year's team begins. Thanks for your time and support of the Skyline Swim Team.

When does registration open?

The website will go live on Monday, April 1. Registration will remain open until the end of the day Friday, April 26. Anyone who does not sign up by the deadline will be put on a waiting list.

Where do I register?

Please go to https://www.skylinesharksswim.org/ and click on Register Now on the homepage.

What is the registration fee this year and how can I pay it?

Single swimmer - $130

Each additional swimmer - $110

Opens (15+) - $80

You can pay with credit card (credit card processing fees apply - 3.4% + 30c per transaction) or by sending a check. (Information will be found on the registration link.)

When will practice begin?

May 20- June 7 Indoor at MTHS

Monday/Wednesday/Friday

ages 14-18 5-6pm ages 11-13 6-7pm

Tuesday/Thursday

ages 9-10 5-6 pm ages 5-8 (Age is as of June 1, 2023) 6-7 pm

No practice Monday May 27- Memorial Day

Outdoor practices will begin on Monday, June 10.

June 10- July 19 Outdoor practice schedule (every day except July 4th)

8:30-9:30 am ages 14-18 years

9:30-10:30 am ages 11-13 years

10:30-11:30 am ages 10 and under (At indoor practice, coaches will decide which group the 10 and under swimmers will be part of once we go outside. Practice times might end 15 minutes earlier for some swimmers.)

What is the schedule for this season and how do I let the coach know which events my child will attend?

Please visit the website to see the schedule under Meets and Events. This is where you will sign up your swimmer for each swim meet. You will be able to confirm availability once registration is complete. You must let us know meet availability by Friday, May 24. PLEASE MARK YOUR CHOICE FOR EACH MEET EVEN IF YOUR SWIMMER WILL NOT BE ATTENDING. CHANGES CAN BE MADE AS THE SEASON GOES ON BEFORE THE EVENT IS CLOSED.
