The final week of the regular season is here - I truly can't believe it! This year seemed to go quicker than usual. We have really big meet on Tuesday night and another busy week ahead so here we go!

Pep Rally - Monday, July 17 6-7 PM 

Join us tomorrow night as we hold a pep rally before our big meet against Overlook. Anyone who can attend - meet us at the pavilion at Stoner Park from 6-7 PM. We will make some posters for Tuesday night, get some Skyline tattoos, do some cheers, and have a cool treat! Hope you can join us! 

Tuesday, July 18 - Home Meet and Senior Night versus Overlook (NEW)

  • The first draft of the lineup is attached. If your commitment has changed, please let Coach Barb know ASAP by emailing her at [email protected] or texting her at 717-203-2115. Event changes are possible but not guaranteed.
  • Theme Night: Blue-Out 
  • We will be recognizing our seniors after the backstroke. 
  • Volunteer Needs:
    • Computer Operator - 2nd half
    • Concession Stand - 1 from 8-9
    • Pool Setup - 2 from 4-5
    • Pool Teardown - 2
    • Ribbons - 1 in 2nd half
  • Concession Donations:  There are a lot of needs still. If you want to contribute and have no time, you can always Venmo me (Linda) and I will get it to the correct people. 
    • 12 pk Coke - 1
    • 12 pk Diet Coke - 2
    • 12 pk Sunkist - 1
    • 22 lb. bag of ice - 6
    • 2 lbs. ground beef for walking tacos in crockpot - 5
    • 6 lemons cut in 1/2 - 1
    • bag of shredded lettuce - 1 
    • pick up order of Philly Pretzels 
    • case of small Doritos bags - 1
    • case of water bottles - 1
    • case of Gatorade - 2
    • mac and cheese in crockpot - 3 
    • meatballs in sauce in crockpot - 2
    • pasta salad - 2
    • pulled pork in crockpot - 2
    • dozen veggies and dip in cups - 1
    • watermelon or assorted fruit precut - 2

Save-a-Life Swim Program

Our Skyline swimmers and families are AMAZING!!! Not only did we have swimmers who swam over 100 laps, our donations are currently around $2000 and counting! All donation papers and money are due in the Piper mailbox by Friday. 

2023 Red Divisional Championship - Saturday, July 22 - Ephrata

This meet is open to all swimmers in the Red Division who have participated in at least 2 dual meets throughout the season.

  • They are running one session beginning at 9 AM. You veteran families are used to older kids in morning and younger in the afternoon. This will not be the case this year.
  • 6 Volunteer timers are needed - we still need 1 2nd half timer
  • Please make sure to declare your swimmer's availability ASAP. There are 67 swimmers currently with no declaration either way. Everyone who is available may swim at divisionals. 
  • The cost of admission is $5.00 per spectator. Children under 12 admitted free. 
  • A snack bar, coffee bar, and Kona Ice will be available. 
  • Parking, arrival times, and other information will come later this week. 

All League Championships - Manheim - Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29

  • League Championship Relays are held Friday evening, July 28 and DO NOT have qualifying times. We hope to take at least 1 and maybe 2 relays for each group to the League meet. There is both a Free Relay and a Medley Relay. So, if your swimmer(s) are available to swim Friday night for relays and want to be part of this final meet, please mark your swimmer as available for the relay session on Swimtopia. Coach Barb will choose from the available swimmers the two best relays (If we have at least 8 swimmers available) to enter the meet's relay portion. Any questions, please contact Coach Barb. 
  • Saturday, July 29 - This meet is open to all swimmers who have qualified based on the times posted by the league. Swimmers can still qualify for Leagues this Tuesday night and at Divisionals on Saturday. 
  • More information about those meets will come later this week. Timers are needed for both days and are open now for sign-ups. 

Practices - July 24-28 (NEW)

For those who will be swimming in the relays and individual events for All League Championships, practices next week run on a modified schedule: 11 and over at 9 AM 10 and under at 10:00 AM

For Sale 

There will be team t-shirts from this year (Youth sizes only) for sale at concessions for $5 on Tuesday night. As well as swim caps ($12) and car magnets ($2) 

Swim Night at the Lancaster Barnstormers  (NEW)

The Lancaster Barnstormers are hosting a Swim Night on Wednesday, August 2. Swimmers get in free and additional tickets cost $10. Join your swim team on the field before the game for a special parade. Take the field with the Barnstormers players for the National Anthem. Please see the attached flyer for more information and to order your tickets.
