Week 15?! Man, this summer is flying by quickly! After the busyness of last week with the Cup and Guppy Gulch, I am looking forward to our final home meet and Senior Night recognition this Thursday. 

Thursday, July 14 - Final Home Meet versus Lampeter-Strasburg

We will be recognizing our seniors at our final home meet. Concessions are now open, and we still have a few volunteer positions open. Please log on to see what needs we currently have open. Swimmer availability for this event will close tonight. 

This would be our last opportunity for anyone to shadow and see how to run the Colorado Timing System if interested. 

Banquet 

You must RSVP by Tuesday Night! You will be unable to attend the banquet if you do not sign up by the time it closes Tuesday night.  

How to sign up: In Swim Topia, go to Meets and Events and scroll to Banquet and click the RSVP button. RSVP for only those listed in your family who are attending. If you are bringing additional guests, please choose how many and list their names (and age if a child) in the Comment Section. Also, in the comments section – please list your total amount and payment method.

Where: Eden Resort Courtyard

When: Sunday, July 24 4-9 PM

Cost: $13 for swimmers $22 for non-swimmers 11 and under

$27 for non-swimmers 12 and up

Payment: Cash, Check (payable to Skyline Swim Team - put in folder in top drawer of filing cabinet labeled banquet), or Venmo (@skylinesharks) due to Skyline by July 18

Other information:

• 8 and under swimmers will be sitting with their families
• Children ages 12-years-old and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult
• For safety purposes, Skyline Swim Team and families are only permitted in the courtyard and lobby areas of the Eden Resort. Parents/Guardians need to know children's whereabouts at all times.
• If you are not attending the meal portion of the banquet, you can still come to watch the slideshow and recognition portion. We will give a specific time in next week's Sunday Scoop.

Meet Availability for Remaining Meets

Please log on and select your swimmer's availability for Dual Meet versus Overlook (July 19), Divisionals (July 23), All League Relays (July 29) and All League Championships (July 30) by this Wednesday. If anything changes in availability for these meets, please contact Coach Barb. Depending on the date, we may be able to make changes. 

Divisionals - New Holland - Saturday, July 23

Any swimmer may swim in this meet. There are NO qualifying times. It is kind of like our "Team Championship" meet. Sign-up on Swimtopia is now closed so if you need to make any changes, please contact Coach Barb. Remember – for Divisionals, everyone on the team can swim.

• Swimmers 11 and older will swim during the first session, which starts at 9:00 AM, and swimmers 10 and younger will swim during the second session, which starts at 1:30 PM.
• Admission Fee: $5.00. Swimmers and children under six are free.
• There will be a concession stand operating inside the pool gates from 7:00 AM through the conclusion of the meet. There will also be Auntie Anne’s food truck.
• Divisionals t-shirts will be available for pre-order (see below).  
• Support your swimmers by sending them a Candy Gram for $1.00 during the meet.
• We need to send volunteers for both sessions (see below)

All League Championships (July 29 and 30) – Ephrata Community Pool

As of today, July 10, the following swimmers have qualified for Individual Events at the League Championship Meet being held at the Ephrata outdoor pool on Saturday morning, July 30. (See attached document) Swimmers can still qualify for leagues at any of the remaining meets- LS dual meet, Overlook dual meet and Divisionals (Division 1 Championships).

League Championship Relays are held Friday evening, July 29 and DO NOT have qualifiying times. We hope to take at least 1 and maybe 2 relays to the League meet. There is both a Free Relay and a Medley Relay.  So, if your swimmer(s) are available to swim Friday night for relays and want to be part of this final meet, please mark your swimmer as available for the relay session on Swimtopia. Coach Barb will choose from the available swimmers the two best relays (If we have at least 8 swimmers available) to enter the meet's relay portion.  Any questions, please contact Coach Barb
