Hey Skyline! What time is it?...

Although there are still many details to finalize in this ever-changing climate, we are excited to announce that registration for the 2021 Summer Swim Season opens tomorrow, Friday, April 23! Thank you for your patience and please forgive this long email, but we hope to answer many questions that you might have about this season.

Where do I register?

Please go to https://www.skylinesharksswim.org/ and click on Register Now on the homepage.

What is the registration fee this year and how can I pay it?

Singer swimmer - $105 Each additional swimmer - $95 Opens (15+) - $50

There is no separate SWIM TEAM ONLY pass this year that you would normally pay to MT Parks and Recreation. Instead, Skyline will be paying $20 for each swimmer so we needed to raise our registration fee $20 this year.

You can pay with credit card on the website (Note: WePay charges credit card processing fees of 2.9% plus 30¢ per transaction.) or by check made payable to Skyline Swim Team and can be sent to Linda Piper, 412 Glen Ridge Dr., Lancaster, Pa 17601 or brought to the Welcome Back/Meet the Coaches Social (see below)

When will practices begin?

There will be no indoor practices this year. Outdoor practices will begin on Monday, June 7.

13 and over: 8:30-9:30

11-12: 9:30-10:30

9-10: 10:30-11:15

8 and under: 11:00-11:45

Who are the coaches this year?

Coach Barb, Coach Jenn, and Coach Jordyn will be returning. The remaining coaches will be announced in the future.

What is the Welcome Back/Meet the Coaches Social?

In lieu of our annual kick-off picnic at Skyline, we will be hosting a gathering at the pavilion at Stoner Park on Sunday, June 6 from 3-5 PM. More details will come later but we wanted you to put the date on the calendar.

What is the schedule for this season and how do I let the coach know which events my child will attend?

Please visit the website to see the schedule under Meets and Events. This is where you will sign-up your swimmer for each swim meet. You must let us know meet availability by Friday, May 28.

Where can I order a team suit or swim cap?

Attached to this email is a PDF document for suits and caps with T & T Swimming. If you would like to place an order, you will need to print and mail or take the order form to T & T. We suggest calling T & T directly for questions regarding suit sizes and scheduling a day and time to try on suits. T & T Swimming is only open M-F from 10-5. What Covid-19 safety plans are in place?

We are continuing to work with Manheim Township Parks and Recreation to plan and write the Covid-19 Health and Safety Plan. Please note we will be following current CDC guidelines when the season begins. Masks will be recommended by all patrons when not in the water. Social distancing will also be taken into consideration. This might mean we will need to limit spectators. At this point, we will need to wait for registrations and meet availabilities before making decisions about what this will look like. While the Skyline Pool snack bar will be open this year, our concession stand at this point will only sell water and Gatorade. As soon as the Health and Safety Plan is finalized, it will be emailed to all families and posted on the website.
